A cozy retreat in history

Guy and Sheila welcomed us with homemade treats and a roaring log fire. The views from our room were a delight, overlooking serene fields and distant hills. The breakfasts were gourmet, with homemade bread and local produce.

While we enjoyed our stay , the only minor downside was that the reading lights by the bed could have been brighter for nighttime reading. This was a very small issue in the grand scheme of our lovely visit.

Spotlessly clean venue with really tasty breakfasts and garden views. Fantastic staff throughout. Freshly made and exceptional slices of fresh bread and muesli in the morning. A relaxing stay for a fabulous visit.

While the reading lights above the bed were somewhat dim, that was just a minor inconvenience compared to the complete lack of complimentary treats that I expected. They really should focus more on guest comfort instead of just their beautiful garden view. I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn't.

The attention to detail in decoration and the delicious homemade gluten-free cakes made our stay nice, alongside the warm hospitality of Guy and Sheila who treated us like family.

The warm welcome from Guy and Sheila set the tone, with delicious afternoon tea. The period-style rooms were comfy, and we loved the cozy lounge with the log burner. We enjoyed hiking nearby, particularly in the ancient woodlands, and fished at some lovely local spots. Highly recommend checking out their breakfast-it was fantastic!

One minor hiccup was the reading lights in the room, a bit dim for nighttime reading.

We spent 2 nights in a Beautiful Double or Twin Room with Garden View at Lower Wythall B&B, and it was fantastic! Guy and Sheila's hospitality was great, with delicious homemade treats like cake upon arrival and a hearty breakfast with locally sourced options. The room was immaculate with a massive bed, beautiful views over the fields, and an excellent ensuite with a luxurious steam shower and a deep double-ended bath.

There was nothing negative to mention.

Wi-Fi was reliable, and loved the electric kettle. Reading lights were too dim.

Can just recommend for a lightning trip

Spacious room, comfortable bed, with a lovely shower in an up-to-date bathroom that blended beautifully with the Elizabethan architecture, coupled with delicious breakfast options including homemade granola and freshly baked breads, all set in a convenient location to explore nearby hiking trails.

staying at this charming b&b was fantastic, especially with its proximity to beautiful green spaces and scenic landmarks, made our city strolls enjoyable, complemented by spacious, clean accommodations with lovely views and a very comfortable bed.

An ideal choice for a date night in Ross-on-Wye with best value. The homemade apple cake upon arrival was a good surprise. Definitely explore their garden for a peaceful moment.
